CATERING POLICIES
At-a-Glance

Ordering method: Online only (no phone or email orders).

Order cut-off: New orders accepted until 24 hours before Event Time or until we reach capacity—whichever comes first.

Change cut-off: Add/remove items or adjust quantities freely up to 36 hours before Event Time. After that, changes are typically not possible (see “Changing an Order”).

Cancellation refunds (orders are charged at booking):

≥ 24 hours prior: 100% refund

< 24 hours and ≥ 6 hours prior: 50% refund
-
< 6 hours prior: 0% refund (no refund)
-
Event Time = your scheduled delivery or pickup time.
Placing an Order

Orders are placed online only through our catering site.
-
An order is confirmed once payment is captured and you receive an email confirmation.

On high-demand dates we may close ordering earlier than the posted cut-off when kitchen capacity is reached.
Changing an Order

You may add or remove items and adjust quantities at will up to 36 hours before Event Time directly in your online order.

Inside 36 hours, changes are generally not available. If you have an urgent request, email Catering@lafarinecafe.com and we’ll let you know if accommodation is possible.

Cancellation & Refunds
Because credit cards are charged in full at the time of booking, refunds are issued as follows:

≥ 24 hours prior: 100% refund to the original payment method.

< 24 hours and ≥ 6 hours prior: 50% refund.

< 6 hours prior: 0% refund.
Please allow 3–5 business days for refunds to post (bank dependent).
Payment

Credit/debit card only.

No processing fee at this time.

Cards are charged in full at booking; a paid receipt is emailed automatically.

If a card is declined, the order is not confirmed and the time slot is not held.


Product Availability & Substitutions

To ensure freshness and seasonality, minor substitutions of equivalent quality may occur when a specific ingredient is unavailable. If a material change is needed, we will contact you for approval.
Delivery & Pickup

Standard arrival window is ±30 minutes around Event Time. Please provide accurate access details (loading dock, buzzer, floor, security, etc.).

If no one is available to receive the order, wait-time or redelivery fees may apply.
Allergen Information

Our kitchen handles common allergens; cross-contact risk cannot be eliminated.

Pricing, Taxes & Gratuities

Prices may change without notice. Sales tax is applied at checkout. Gratuities are optional and appreciated.
